Countdown Not this time. This time, the theater in it's infinate wisdom, has decided that PoA's last showing for the night - and the rest of the week - will begin at 6:45. ????? The Boss Lady has graciously given me permission to close the deli down early and come to get the monies herself. Last night, as I was drawing up the sign that would inform our customers of this, Von Helsing saw it and said that she would come in at 5 and take over the last bit and let me go. Normally, if this volunteer had been anyone else I would have been ecstatic. The offer coming from whom it is, I'm paranoid. I mean this is the movie that Von Helsing has gained her nickname from. Her disaproval of the story/books/movies has been made very evident. I just have this awful feeling that she's somehow, at the last minute, going to back out. Never to fear, I have back up plans. I'm still going to close the deli and leave. The Boss Lady will still came out and close the store and I will just have to be in there at too-early-in-the-morning to clean up the mess I leave. The Mom and The Sibling have been alerted to the back up plans and with one phone call, get the children ready to jump in the truck and go. Sad, isn't it. All this fuss over a movie.
