Halloween Party ________________________________________ Tonights festivities for the children went rather well if I say so myself. I forgot how much fun it was to be a child. The menu included bats' wings, spinal cord pieces, witches brew (one of the kids dubbed polyjuice potion), a carmel-peanut butter dip (That promptly got called guano dip) to immerse the apple slices in and lots of chips to go with a spicy pumpkin dip (that nobody but the adults liked). We listened to the Monster Mash, Thriller, Warewolf in London, Time Warp, The theme songs to The X-Files, Psycho, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Jaws, Beetlejuice and a score of others. We played hot/cold hide and seek with a mini ceramic pumpkin and then an all out game of hide and seek in the dark with me and Mom being base. That is untill the one stampede and we decided to make the tree NEXT to us the base. We had a big bonfire and roasted Marshmallows and told scary stories. Then, after all the kids except the two that were spending the night went home, the adults sat around by the fire B.S.ing and having a good old time while my young 'uns and their two friends went inside and watched Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken. It was a great night.
